What I would like to get out of this program:

I hope the Kellogg Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Health will enhance my career by providing me with additional skills in public health leadership and project management. I believe this program will enable me to interact with like professionals who work with potentially turbulent public health populations and environments. This program with its unique case-based format will provide me with the opportunity to improve my leadership capacity. It will illustrate using a business model to add to my current management portfolio where my "countries" are my "clients." I expect to further develop skills to address the local and international needs of the HIV/AIDS population. I believe this fellowship program will nicely round out my current management skills while providing me with additional leadership skills to help propel my work to the next level. I believe this program will provide me with additional expertise and choices to manage the dynamically changing world of public health.
